Let Me Remind You:

2019 Is Your Best Year — So Far

One of my friends has an amazing attitude towards life and his own journey. Whatever he does or accomplishes, he announces that this (and this “this” is an absolute notion valid for everything) is the single best thing he has ever done.

He lands a new project and he celebrates it like it was the win of his life, until the next one comes along and instantly the current one becomes the best ever. He writes anything and he is thrilled to have written the best piece of all time. He falls in love with someone and that woman immediately becomes everything, and he is happier than he has ever been. He announces every win, every event, every accomplishment as the best he has ever had.

No wonder, this year was the best year of his life. When he achieved heights he has never seen before. When he wrote the best pieces of his whole life. When he was the happiest. Just because this is how he chooses to look at it.

He is his own biggest fan — and his enthusiasm towards himself is contagious. It really seems that he is just constantly satisfied, yet never stops reaching for more.

Is he delusional? Maybe. (Probably.)
