Manifesting and The Hidden Logic of Illogical Things
or a different way to look at the manifesting trends of these days
I have always wanted to understand everything. To apply logic, to deduct and draw conclusions. To learn the rules and use them. To assign meaning to every single thing that has happened to me in order to make sense of the past and predict the outcome of my decisions.
Some things in life conform to the rules, they abide and bend as they should — the efforts bear fruit, the sacrifice is worth it, and the long hours of struggle finally pay off. The linear results look pretty and reassuring, convincing you that life is fair, that the world makes sense, and that logic is king.
And there are some things that just refuse to fit the pattern. They are messy. Illogical. Irrational. Unimaginable. When the illogical unimaginable is in your favour, you call it luck. When they seem to be against you, you call it misfortune, misery and injustice.
Human beings are not only creatures of habit, we are also the most contradictory species ever lived. We expect predictability, yet we act in unpredictable ways. We expect things to be logical, yet we repetitively do things we know are bad for us hoping that this time somehow the world will prove us wrong and surprise us with a different…
