The Dating Advice that Can Ruin Potential Relationships

“If he wanted to, he would”

If he cared, he would call. If you mattered, he would make an effort. If he took you seriously, he couldn’t go even a day without talking to you, texting you, or planning your next date. If he wanted to, he would make time for you. And you wouldn’t have to wonder. You wouldn’t have to doubt his intentions. Or your worth.

Because the man who cares does all this. From the second he sees you or matches with you, he just does everything perfectly.

Also, you don’t have to teach the right man how you want to be treated. He will just magically know it. He will know how to talk to you, when to talk to you and when not to, he will say the right things and do the right things, exactly those things that you want, and he knows it all — because he is not only very intuitive, he also reads minds, and preferably he can also fly and become invisible. Right?

Before I decided to delete all of my dating apps — for lack of interest to spend my time this way for the umpteenth time already — I had met someone. We matched. We had a short chat and we set a date for the next day. Nothing special, no big words, no long hours of texting and chatting — we haven’t exchanged phone numbers until we met in person.
