Did you ever wish that life would come with a user manual so that you should know exactly what to do to reach your goals? I know, I did.
It’s incredible, but we have a lot of user’s manuals for life at hand. More than we need — actually. Think about all the weight loss plans, the healthy lifestyle books and articles, the millions of self-help articles with useful tips and tricks, the solutions to climate change.
We have it all. Yet we still struggle with the same problems.
If you take just the rational parts, how is it possible that we know how to be healthy and fit, yet so many people are overweight and obese? How is it possible that despite knowing the effects of alcohol, cigarettes or drugs, there are still so many addicts trying to get rid of their vices. How is it possible that you set your alarm to have a relaxing morning and establish a routine and then 45 minutes later you are still groggy in bed, hitting snooze for the 5th time in a row?
As Mel Robbins said in one of her talks, we are one Google search away from the life we want. We have the user’s manual. We know what we have to do. We even have a choice of different solutions that could work for us. But yet, here we are…
